«A Girl Called Eddy» is the self-titled debut album by pop rock artist A Girl Called Eddy, released by Anti on CD in 2004.
The album features acoustic pop rock songs with melancholic melodies and introspective lyrics, framed by A Girl Called Eddy's expressive, intimate voice. The repertoire combines mid-tempo nostalgic airs with sober arrangements of piano, guitars and strings, creating an intimate and emotional atmosphere. Standout tracks include «Heartache» and other compositions that move between singer-songwriter pop and shades of soul and country.
For those seeking adult, delicate pop with singer-songwriter sensibility, close to the sound of the 2000s.
