Sonic Generations is a platform video game for PlayStation 3 that celebrates the 20th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog. The game allows players to control both the classic 1991 Sonic and the modern Sonic in environments rebuilt in high definition. Each Sonic has unique special moves, such as the Spin Dash and Spin Attack for classic Sonic, and the Homing Attack and Sonic Boost for modern Sonic. The game features a new interactive menu system that allows players to fully immerse themselves in the Sonic universe, with favorite characters and hidden treasures gradually being revealed throughout the game. The game's story involves a mysterious power that creates time holes, sending Sonic and his friends through time, where they meet past versions of themselves and must defeat a new enemy to save their friends and discover who is behind this diabolical plan.
