«Pro Evolution Soccer 2009» is Konami's football game for Nintendo Wii, released in 2008.

Football simulation in which matches, tournaments and leagues are played with clubs and national teams, under the official UEFA Champions League licence. The Wii version adapts the gameplay to the console and its controller, and features Lionel Messi on the cover; the graphics are renewed for this platform.
