Detective Max Payne becomes embroiled in a new criminal conspiracy alongside Mona Sax. The story, presented as a film noir love story, combines third-person gunfights with dark, cinematic narration, and continues the experience of the first Max Payne.

CD-ROM edition for PC, in Spanish, released in 2003 with an 18+ rating. It is the direct sequel to the original Max Payne.
