«F.E.A.R.: First Encounter Assault Recon» is a first-person shooter with psychological horror published by Vivendi for PC in 2007.

The player takes on the role of an operative of the F.E.A.R. unit, a team specialised in containing paranormal threats. The story revolves around Alma Wade, a psychic of great power and a troubled past, and the events unleashed by her influence. The gunfights are combined with suspense and horror passages, creating an oppressive atmosphere.
