Vincent, a 27-year-old with Tourette syndrome, is admitted to a clinic after his mother's death. There he meets Marie and his roommate Alexander, and the three flee in the car of their therapist, Dr. Rose, to reach Italy and fulfil Vincent's mother's last wish: to scatter her ashes in the Mediterranean. During the flight, the relationship between Vincent and Marie grows closer, and his father, who pursues them with the doctor, begins to understand how he has treated his son.
