Adaptation of Choderlos de Laclos's novel, this historical drama set in 18th-century France follows the Marquise de Merteuil and her former lover Valmont, who agree on a game of seduction: he must win over the young and virtuous Madame de Tourvel. The situation becomes complicated when Valmont falls in love with his conquest.
