The Violin Of The Century

Synopsis of The Violin Of The Century

«The Violin of the Century» is Bruno Monsaingeon's documentary (2000) about Yehudi Menuhin, with the Berlin Philharmonic and the Vienna Symphony, on DVD.

With abundant archival material, partly previously unseen, the documentary traces Yehudi Menuhin's career: his beginnings as a child prodigy, his consolidation as a violin star, his openness to jazz and Indian music, and his family ties.
