«The Office - Series 1» is the comedy series by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant (2003), starring Ricky Gervais and Martin Freeman, on DVD.
The series shows the routine of employees at a paper company branch, where manager David Brent tries to win over his team with misplaced comments and clumsy humour. The mockumentary style, with interviews and looks to camera, turns small office conflicts into awkward, recognisable scenes.
This edition includes the complete first season on two discs (176 minutes). Audio in English stereo and English subtitles. Age rating: 15.
For those who appreciate British comedy of awkward humour and the mockumentary style.
