«The Eye» is the horror film by the Pang brothers, starring Angelica Lee, Lawrence Chou and Chutcha Rujinan, on DVD.
Mun, blind since the age of two, regains her sight after a corneal transplant and begins to see figures dressed in black and disfigured people who announce deaths. Looking in the mirror, Mun sees another woman. With the help of her doctor, Mun investigates the origin of her donor and discovers a tragedy that only she can prevent.
The film, distributed by DeAPlaneta, won the award for best cinematography at Sitges 2002, runs about 99 minutes and is not recommended for children under 13.
