«The Bridge on the River Kwai» is the 1957 film by David Lean, starring William Holden, Alec Guinness and Jack Hawkins, on DVD.
During the Second World War, British prisoners of war are forced by the Japanese army to build a railway bridge in the Burmese jungle, while an Allied commando is ordered to destroy it.
