«Spot's Alphabet» is the educational DVD from the animated series of Spot the dog, based on Eric Hill's children's books, released by Abbey Home Media in 2005.
The DVD brings together four animated episodes starring Spot, the puppy created by Eric Hill, with a didactic approach for children to learn through play. Through simple activities, the episodes cover the alphabet, first words, colours and shapes, and include games designed to reinforce comprehension and observation while following the character's adventures.
The release is part of the «Fun to Learn» series from Abbey Home Media. The DVD includes four episodes: «Spot's Alphabet», «Spot's First Word Game», «Spot Looks at Colours» and «Spot Looks at Shapes».
Suitable for preschool children beginning to familiarise themselves with letters, colours and shapes, as well as for young Spot fans who already enjoy his books.
