Clive and Elsa are two scientists working in a genetics laboratory. They are romantically involved and are trying to create a hybrid animal from which to extract proteins. The couple would like to go further in their research, but the client intends to enter the market immediately. Elsa does not give up and continues by adding human DNA. From this is born a being, baptized Dren, who has, in part, the characteristics of a human body and in part those of a volatile creature.
