Set in the late 19th century, a beautiful young woman causes a scandal when she begins working at a ministry, where she soon proves to be infinitely more capable than her male colleagues. This classic Spanish comedy, based on the play 'Sublime decisión' by Miguel Mihura, is a witty satire on gender roles and the society of the time. Directed by and starring the legendary Fernando Fernán Gómez alongside Analía Gadé, this film is a fundamental piece of Spanish cinema that masterfully combines humor and social commentary.
