Synopsis of Save the Cinema

«Save the Cinema» is the 2022 drama film based on the true story of the Lyric cinema in Wales, on DVD.

The plot follows Liz Evans, a woman from a Welsh town who mobilises to prevent the Lyric cinema from closing and being demolished. Her campaign, designed to bring the venue closer to new generations, manages to attract the attention of Steven Spielberg and leads to a special screening of Jurassic Park that gives visibility to the cause.

Distributed by Spirit Entertainment. The DVD contains one disc, with English audio and subtitles for the hearing impaired in English.
