Nick, a bridge worker, lives a seemingly stable life with his wife Kitty Kane and their three daughters. However, his life takes a turn when he gives in to his passions and begins an affair with the young and uninhibited Tula. After being discovered by his wife, Nick finds himself caught between the desire for redemption and temptation, facing a series of situations that force him to rethink what his family truly means to him. This human comedy, directed by John Turturro, stands out for its peculiar use of music and a stellar cast including James Gandolfini, Susan Sarandon, and Kate Winslet.
