Rex, an Airedale Terrier dog, is a Hollywood star until an accident on set leaves him lost. He is taken in by Shane, a boy whose father is chief of a declining fire station. Together they try to restore the station's glory, and Rex will prove that an actor dog can also be a true hero.
The edition includes English and French versions and was released on 27 June 2007. The cover adds the tagline «Un héros qui a du chien!».
Aimed at family audiences, it combines comedy and adventure with a dog as the protagonist and a light tone that can be enjoyed with children.
