«Re-Animator» is the 1985 film by Stuart Gordon, starring Jeffrey Combs, Bruce Abbott and Barbara Crampton, on DVD.
Based on a story by H.P. Lovecraft, the film follows Herbert West, a medical student obsessed with conquering death, who develops a serum capable of reanimating corpses. His experiments turn a faculty into a scene of grotesque violence, in a blend of horror and black humour that has become a cult classic.
This Millennium edition consists of 2 discs and 86 minutes of footage, with English audio in Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1.
Will appeal to collectors of classic horror and those seeking cult films from the eighties.
