«Police Academy» is the 1984 film by Hugh Wilson, starring Steve Guttenberg, Kim Cattrall and G.W. Bailey, on DVD.
When the police academy relaxes its admission requirements, a motley group of recruits enrols, though few seem cut out to be officers. Between hazing, drill exercises and clashes with their superiors, the trainees try to pass the course and prove they too deserve a place in the force. Physical humour and absurd situations turn the training into a string of gags.
Special 20th-anniversary edition with one disc. Audio in English, French and Italian (Dolby Digital 2.0 mono) and subtitles in Spanish and eight other languages. Widescreen format 1.85:1. Running time: 93 minutes.
For those who want an Eighties physical-comedy film and a DVD edition with multilingual dubbing and subtitles.
