Nimr, a Palestinian student, dreams of a better life abroad. On a fateful night, he meets Roy, a young Israeli lawyer, and it is love at first sight. However, the harsh realities of a Palestinian society that condemns homosexuality and the political tension with Israel force Nimr to choose between his life and his love. Directed by Michael Mayer, this moving drama explores themes of identity, conflict, and forbidden love in a complex sociopolitical context.
