«Nothing Personal» is the film directed by Urszula Antoniak (2009), starring Lotte Verbeek and Stephen Rea, on DVD.
A young Dutch woman travels through Ireland as a vagabond by choice, seeking solitude and freedom in the austere landscape of Connemara. There she meets a mature man who lives in isolation; he offers her work in exchange for food on the condition of not sharing anything personal. The coexistence awakens a mutual curiosity that will test the pact.
Co-production between the Netherlands and Ireland, with a running time of 85 minutes. The DVD includes 1 disc, 1.85:1 image and sound in Spanish and Catalan; not recommended for children under 7.
For those who enjoy European auteur cinema and intimate stories about solitude and human connection.
