«Natividad. La historia» is the film by Catherine Hardwicke (2006), starring Keisha Castle-Hughes, Oscar Isaac and Ciarán Hinds, on DVD.
The film follows Mary, a young woman from Nazareth whose life changes with the visit of the angel Gabriel. Betrothed to Joseph, she sets out with him on the journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem, where her son is born. It is a biblical drama about the birth of Jesus and the fulfilment of a divine promise.
The DVD edition, distributed by TriPictures on 5 December 2007, is region 2 and runs 97 minutes; it includes audio in Spanish, Catalan and English and subtitles in Spanish.
