Charlton Heston and John Savage co-star in this television effort that examines father-son tensions against a teeming African backdrop. In the wilds of Kenya, a man and his grown son lead a hard life protecting the precious animal population from greedy, gun-toting poachers. This fragile relationship then shatters once the son learns his ex-wife is sleeping with his father.
