Gloria Duque barely survives in Mexico after fleeing a broken life in Madrid. There she witnesses a shootout between drug traffickers in which two police officers die; one entrusts her with a notebook containing information about money laundering by the world mafia. Deported to Madrid, she returns to her mother-in-law, who gives lessons to pay the mortgage, and risks everything with that information.
