«Moulin Rouge» is the film by Baz Luhrmann (2001), starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor, on DVD.
Set in Paris in 1899, the film follows the romance between Satine, the star of the Moulin Rouge cabaret, and Christian, a young writer who arrives in the city to succeed. Their love becomes complicated when a powerful patron also covets Satine. The musical show includes covers of songs by The Police, Elton John and Madonna.
