«Medianeras» is the Argentine film by Gustavo Taretto (2011), starring Javier Drolas and Pilar López de Ayala, on DVD.
Martín and Mariana live on the same block in Buenos Aires, in facing buildings, but never get to meet: their routines cross daily without their paths ever converging. Between urban loneliness and virtual relationships, the film combines humour and melancholy to portray the search for a real connection in a city that unites and at the same time separates them.
Released by Karma Films, with an approximate running time of 90 minutes, region 2 and suitable for all audiences.
Will appeal to those who enjoy urban love stories, everyday coincidences and bittersweet portraits of modern life.
