Mars Attacks! is a science fiction comedy directed by Tim Burton that satirizes 1950s alien invasion films. The story follows the chaos that ensues on Earth when peculiar-looking, evil-intentioned Martians land in Kentucky, triggering absurd reactions from world leaders and the general public alike. Featuring an all-star cast including Jack Nicholson, Glenn Close, and Pierce Brosnan, the film is a brilliant and lighthearted parody of American culture and human stupidity.
