Dive into the luxurious and dramatic world of Marie Antoinette, the young Queen of France played by Kirsten Dunst. Directed by Sofia Coppola, this film tells the story of an Austrian teenager who marries Louis XVI in an arranged marriage. Isolated in the court of Versailles, Marie Antoinette faces the pressure of giving an heir to the throne and the political intrigues that surround her. Instead of adapting to the rigid rules of the court, she takes refuge in a world of pleasures, fashion and excesses, ignoring the growing tensions that foreshadow the French Revolution. A stylized and modern look at the life of one of the most controversial historical figures.
