«Les valseuses» is the film by Bertrand Blier (1974), starring Gérard Depardieu, Patrick Dewaere and Miou-Miou, on DVD.
Jean-Claude and Pierrot, two small-time crooks, travel across France in a aimless drift: petty thefts, encounters with women and a rebellious existence on the margins of the rules. A blend of black comedy and drama in the form of a road movie, the film was the springboard that introduced its three main actors.
Studiocanal edition in the Regards d'auteurs collection; audio in French (Dolby Digital 2.0 mono), colour image 1.66:1, Region 2 and 103 minutes running time.
For cinephiles interested in French cinema of the seventies and in the works that established Depardieu, Dewaere and Miou-Miou.
