«Le Grand partage» is the French comedy by Alexandra Leclère (2015), starring Karin Viard, Didier Bourdon and Josiane Balasko, on DVD.
In the middle of winter, a government decree forces those with spacious homes to take in people without heating. In a luxury building in Paris, the measure brings together neighbours from different social classes and turns cohabitation into a chain of misunderstandings and comic situations, with prejudice and solidarity in equal measure.
Released by Warner Home Video, the edition is region 2, with one disc, 1.85:1 picture, French audio in Dolby Digital 2.0 and DTS 5.1, and French subtitles.
Suitable for fans of ensemble French comedy and social satire about coexistence between classes.
