«Las cajas Españolas» is Alberto Porlan's 2004 documentary about the rescue of Spain's artistic treasure during the Civil War, on DVD.
The documentary shows how the Republican government created, during the Civil War, the Junta de Defensa del Tesoro Artístico to protect the works of the Prado Museum. Packed in 1,868 crates, they travelled by secret routes to Geneva, where an international committee guarded them until their return to the museum on 9 September 1939.
