La princesa de las ostras / No quiero ser un hombre

Synopsis of La princesa de las ostras / No quiero ser un hombre

This DVD includes two classic films by director Ernst Lubitsch: 'The Oyster Princess' (1918) and 'I Don't Want to Be a Man' (1919). Both films have been restored by the Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau Stiftung and feature new soundtracks. 'The Oyster Princess' is a social satire about wealthy merchants and hungry aristocrats, while 'I Don't Want to Be a Man' presents a young woman who decides to dress up as a man. A unique opportunity to enjoy the humor and dynamism of Ossi Oswalda, the German Mary Pickford, in these gems of silent cinema.
