«La isla de los olvidados» is the film by Marius Holst (2010), starring Stellan Skarsgård, Benjamin Helstad and Kristoffer Joner, on DVD.
It recreates the true story of the Norwegian island of Bastøy, which at the beginning of the 20th century was a reformatory for minors where inmates were exploited as cheap labour. Erling, a young man sent there after killing a military policeman in self-defence, decides that escape is his only way out.
