La Couleur des Sentiments, known in English as 'The Help', is a drama film that tells the story of three women in Mississippi during the 1960s. Skeeter, a young journalist, decides to give voice to two black maids in the city of Jackson, challenging the rules of the segregationist society. As they share their experiences working in white homes, a strong friendship forms that gives them the courage to overcome the limits of their existence and realize that borders are made to be crossed. Together, they face change in a city divided by racial prejudice.
