«La Cinta Blanca» is the drama film by Michael Haneke (2010), starring Ulrich Tukur, Susanne Lothar and Burghart Klaußner, on Blu-ray.
In a Protestant village in northern Germany, on the eve of the First World War, strange events with an air of ritual punishment disrupt the life of the community. No one can explain who is behind them, and the portrait of its inhabitants becomes a reflection on repression and the origins of Nazism.
Black-and-white film, with audio in German and Spanish (Dolby Digital 5.1) and Spanish subtitles. Special edition from Cameo.
For those seeking a European art-house drama about rural Germany before the Great War.
