«La Aventura de Poseidón» is the film by Ronald Neame (1972), starring Gene Hackman, Ernest Borgnine and Stella Stevens, on DVD.
On New Year's Eve, the ocean liner Poseidón is hit by a giant wave and capsizes at sea. A group of passengers who survive the impact tries to make their way through the interior of the inverted ship to reach the surface before it sinks. With an ensemble cast and special effects, it is a classic of disaster cinema.
The audio is in Spanish, English and German (mono), with subtitles in all three languages and in German for the deaf. This Fox edition lasts 117 minutes and is region 2.
Suitable for all audiences, it will appeal to those looking for a representative title of adventure cinema from the seventies.
