Karol II: The Pope, The Man is the second part of the film about the life of Karol Wojtyla, from the beginning of his pontificate in 1978 until his death in 2005. The film shows the key role of John Paul II in preserving peace during important social events, such as the fall of communism and conflicts in the Middle East. Despite an assassination attempt, he always demonstrated integrity and the ability to forgive. Karol II is a testament to a man's struggle for coexistence between religions and his courage at the head of the Church despite his health problems.
