Ismael Tchou, an eight-year-old boy, runs away from home and travels to Barcelona to find his father, Félix Ambrós, whom he has never met. At Félix's flat he meets Nora, his paternal grandmother, who takes him to the Costa Brava to reunite with him. Meanwhile, his mother Alika and her husband Luis search for him, and the reunion forces everyone to face the past.
