«Impulso infernal» is the 1984 film by Graham Baker, starring Tim Matheson, Meg Tilly and Hume Cronyn, on DVD.
After the accident that leaves her mother in a coma, a young woman returns with her partner to the town where she grew up. Soon the neighbours begin to behave strangely and hostilely, and episodes of anxiety and violence multiply without explanation. As they try to discover the origin of this unsettling transformation, the couple must fight to survive before chaos takes over the place.
