«I'm Not There» is the 2007 Todd Haynes film starring Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett and Heath Ledger, on DVD.
Instead of a conventional biopic, the film approaches Bob Dylan's figure through seven characters embodying different facets of his personality and career. Todd Haynes builds a fragmentary, symbolic and unconventional portrait that reflects on artistic identity, fame and the construction of a myth.
DVD in PAL and region 2, with one disc, Dolby Digital 5.1 sound in English and Italian; no Spanish audio or subtitles. Duration: 135 minutes.
For cinephiles interested in unconventional portraits of musical icons and in the work of Todd Haynes.
