Former FBI agent Ray is obsessed with the murder of his partner and close friend Cobb's daughter. Marzin, the suspect arrested for the murder, is released due to his key role as an informant and the questionable methods used to obtain his confession. After 12 years, the murder remains unsolved and Ray is forced to confront his past and, in particular, the agent with whom he had conducted the investigation, Claire, with whom a love story remained unfinished. The closer Ray gets to solving the case, the more shocking the truth becomes.
