«Holocausto caníbal» is the horror film by Ruggero Deodato (1980), starring Francesca Ciardi, Luca Barbareschi and Robert Kerman, on DVD.
A team of reporters travels to the Amazon to film a tribe and disappears. The network sends a rescue group that finds their tapes: in them, the reporters are seen in a spiral of violence, torture and cannibalism. The film scandalised audiences with its realism, was banned in several countries and its director nearly stood trial.
