«Get Shorty» is Barry Sonnenfeld's 1995 film, starring John Travolta, Gene Hackman and Danny DeVito, on DVD.
Chili Palmer, a Miami loan shark, travels to Hollywood to collect a debt and, without meaning to, gets into the movie business. His particular way of handling matters catches a producer's attention, and crime rubs shoulders with the entertainment industry in a comedy full of twists and eccentric characters.
MGM DVD edition, region 2, with audio in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish and subtitles in several languages.
Recommended for fans of crime comedies set in Hollywood, with a satirical tone about the film industry.
