During Christmas Eve 1914, at the start of the First World War, a real episode transforms the fate of a Scottish pastor, a French lieutenant, a German tenor and a Danish soprano. In different areas of the front, soldiers from both sides leave their rifles in the trenches and share food, cigarettes and even a game of football.
