For Tyler's thirtieth birthday, his girlfriend Christen gives him an invitation to a mysterious escape room. With four more friends, the couple enters the game and gets trapped in rooms full of puzzles. Christen disappears and Tyler sees her on a screen locked in a cage with a countdown; the game turns sadistic and not everyone will manage to escape.
