«El Ojo del Diablo» is the 1960 film by Ingmar Bergman, starring Bibi Andersson, Jarl Kulle and Stig Järrel, on DVD.
Based on the Irish saying that a young woman's chastity is a sty in the devil's eye, this satanic comedy shows a fantastic hell where great libertines like Don Juan gather. Loosely inspired by Molière's work, it plays on the surprise that women feel compassion for the seducer rather than desire.
Original title: Djävulens Öga. PAL Region 2 edition with the original Swedish version and Spanish subtitles; 2.0 sound and one disc. Part of the Filmax Antología IB collection.
