«El Lobo» is the film by Miguel Courtois (2004), starring Eduardo Noriega, José Coronado and Mélanie Doutey, on DVD.
Based on a true story, it recounts how a construction worker is recruited by the Spanish secret services to infiltrate ETA during the 1970s. Under the code name Lobo, he works his way into the organisation and gains the trust of its leaders, while his double life draws him towards moral dilemmas and constant danger for himself and his family.
Running time: 119 minutes. PAL edition (region 2) on two discs, with audio in Spanish and subtitles in English and French. The film received two Goya Awards in 2004.
