Six months after the suicide of the famous tailor Narciso Benavides, a mysterious woman visits detective Germán Areta to investigate the case. Convinced that her lover was murdered, the woman seeks the truth behind the tailor's death. Areta, although initially skeptical, discovers that there are more motives and suspects than he imagined. A prequel to 'El Crack' (1981), this film narrates the investigations of detective Areta in the turbulent years of the Spanish Transition.
