In Minglanillas, Pepe, a mechanic, watches on television the arrival of man on the Moon and convinces his friends to build a rocket. With funding from Don Gregorio and the help of the eccentric professor Don Anselmo, they found S.A.N.A., build a spacecraft and put Pepe through astronaut tests before contacting NASA.
