«Glorious» is a live comedy film starring Eddie Izzard, recorded at the Hammersmith Apollo in London and released on DVD by Paramount Home Entertainment.
In this performance, Eddie Izzard delivers a continuous monologue with his trademark surreal and digressive humour, touching on ancient history and religion, dream interpretation and everyday life. His stage presence, in a black suit and heels, and the verbal rhythm of his gags turn every twist of the narrative into an unexpected joke.
